Spectrophotometer SP600

| The SP600 is a versatile, wavelength scanning, Spectrophotometer designed specifically for water quality analysis.
Our spectrophotometer features a unique sample chamber, which allows the use of a wide range of sample sizes and shapes — without any cumbersome adapters. This design allows the use of various sample cells with up to a 50 mm pathlength. The instrument has an innovative tungsten halogen lamp with flash function, located conveniently on the back of the spectrophotometer. If the light bulb ever burns out the user can easily remove and replace it. To confirm the instrument is working properly we integrated a Didymium-filter which assures data integrity.

How it works
The SP600 spectrophotometer works by splitting the light into ranges, using a unique holographically produced monochromator. A moveable mirror ensures that the light of the desired wavelength is focused automatically as it passes through the water sample. The light not absorbed by the sample travels to the silicon photodiode detector. The signal is then evaluated by a microprocessor on the spectrophotometer and shown as a direct-read result in the display.
